Sophia G. Hampson, 82, of Brookfield, Wisc., formerly of McDonald, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, in Clare Bridge House, Brookfield. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hampson was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in McDonald and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a former volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program and a former member of the McDonald Garden Club. On October 23, 1943, she married Harry W. Hampson, who died December 31, 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy DallaPiazza of Pewaukee, Wisc., and Joyce Myers of Pittsburgh; a sister, Helen Danek of Burgettstown; and three grandchildren, Wayne and Kristin DallaPiazza and Hunter Myers.
