Jean Ann Hampson, 62, of McDonald, died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Hampson worked at Hills Department Store for 17 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Noblestown Presbyterian Church, a den mother for a Cub Scout pack and a Brownie leader. On November 14, 1950, she married Ernest P. Hampson, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Ernest W. Hampson of McDonald; two daughters, Catherine Denny of McDonald and Amy Alevizatos of Baltimore, Md.; three brothers, John Snatchko of Sturgeon, Fred Snatchko of McDonald and Chuck Snatchko of Carnegie; two sisters, Charlotte Summers of Emsworth and Emily Stasiowski of Carnegie; and seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly and Timothy Hampson, Erin, Jeffrey and Jason Denny and Kayla Alevizatos.
