William H. (Bill) Knisely Jr., 68, of Fraction Road, West Finley, formerly of Buckhannon, W.Va., died at 2:50 p.m. Monday, March 23, 1998, at his residence following a lengthy illness. Mr. Knisely had retired in 1986 from the Columbia Gas Co. of Buckhannon, with more than 38 years of service. He was also a member of the Buckhannon Moose Lodge 598, was a Baptist and enjoyed hunting and golf. In October 1948, he married Gwendolyn Childers, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Marsha Ann Dettman of Rochelle, Ill., Mary Jeanette Blayney of Claysville and Sherri Lynn Glover of Addison; a son, William H. "Rusty" Knisely of West Finley; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, Gerald E. Knisely; and a sister, Beatrice Wolverton.
