Louis DiBacco, 85, of Avella-Cedar Grove, died at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mr. DiBacco worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Windsor Power and Coal Co. as a mine worker for 25 years and as a steel worker at J&L Steel Corp. in Aliquippa, from where he retired in 1975. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Avella, UMWA, United Steelworkers Local 1211 and the Polar Star Mutual Benefit Society of Avella. On September 2, 1933, he married Margaret Fusarelli, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Betty Carter and Marie Frank of Burgettstown; seven sisters, Angeline Swartz, Josephine Angelo and Edna Halavko, all of Burgettstown, Mary Recinelli of Mingo Junction, Ohio, Rose Tedeski and Agnes Grecco, both of Steubenville, Ohio, Grace Radacy of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Samuel and Mike DiBacco, both of Weirton, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sons, Michael DiBacco, who died November 24, 1968, and Louis Jr., who died September 3, 1984; two sisters, Amelia Pascarella and Norma Rodgers; and two brothers, Tony and John DiBacco.
