Bernice S. Lewis, 94, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Greene County, died Sunday, March 15, 1998, following a brief illness. Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Church in the Palms, West Palm Beach. She owned and operated the Palm Beach Haven retirement home for 25 years prior to her retirement. She also owned and operated other business enterprises, including beauty shops and antique shops. Her lifelong hobby was collecting and selling antiques and she organized one of the first major antique shows in the Palm Beaches. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Eakin and Myra Quinn of West Palm Beach; a sister, Edice S. Flowers of Carmichaels; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
