Helen L. McDonald Hufford Duke, 85, of Monongahela, formerly of Washington, died Friday, March 27, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Duke attended Washington schools and was employed as a nurse's aide at the Sylvia Barr Nursing Home, Washington. She was married twice. Her first husband, Howard H. Hufford, died in 1958, and her second husband, Wayne Edward Duke, died in 1992. Surviving are a brother, James McDonald of Carmichaels; a sister, Grace Hatfield Thompson of Washington; five grandchildren, one with whom she made her home, Robert Hufford of Monongahela; and a great-grandchild. Deceased are three sons, Harry E., Charles P. and Robert L. Hufford; two brothers, Raymond and Bobby McDonald; and two sisters, Marguerite and Edna McDonald.
