Florence H. Dernoshek Fefolt, 85, of Finleyville, died Saturday, February 28, 1998. Mrs. Fefolt was a founding member of the Venetia PTA and for many years was employed at the Venetia School in food service. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild in Finleyville. Always interested in her Slovenian heritage, Mrs. Fefolt had taken many trips to Slovenia. Her husband of 65 years, Louis Fefolt, is deceased. Surviving are two sons, L. Ray Fefolt of Finleyville and Dennis A. Fefolt of Canonsburg; a daughter, Dorothy Schwerha of Peters Township; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Louise Pompermayer of Venetia and Dorothy Bateson of Pittsburgh. Deceased are two brothers, Ludwig Dernoshek and Florian Dernoshek; and three sisters, Lana Gaber, Pauline Strojan and Mildred Dubs.
