Jean T. Staggers, 82, of Hundred and Morgantown, W.Va., formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in the Arbors at Fairmont nursing facility. Mrs. Staggers was a retired school teacher, having taught in both West Virginia and Maryland. She was a member of Opti-Ms of Cumberland, Retired Teachers Association of Maryland, American Association of University Women, Lady Shriners of Morgantown and Cumberland Center Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, S. Allen Staggers; a son, Allen T. Staggers of Fairmont; a stepson, John R. Staggers of Paden City, W.Va.; a stepdaughter, Joann King of Wadestown, W.Va.; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
