Helen A. Hall, 84, of Independence, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Hall lived in Independence for the past 60 years where she was a member of the Lower Buffalo Presbyterian Church and was the president of the Friendship Circle of the Church. She was a member of the American Legion Bert C. Siders Post 643 Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Independence Grange 179. On July 24, 1937, she married Jesse Lindsay Hall, who died June 23, 1975. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Postlethwait and Shirley Goff both of Follensbee, W.Va., and Linda Hall of Independence; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace M. Miller of West Middletown and Cecelia M. Lantz of Mechanicsburg; and one brother, Charles Martin of Avella.
