Myrtle I. Hunnell, 80, of Waynesburg R.D.1, Ruff Creek, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, March 2, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Hunnell was a former member of Bethany United Methodist Church and at her death, was a member of Mt. Zion Church at Castile. She was a member of the Morgan Township Society of Farm Women. She was last employed as a housekeeper and cook for the Greene County sheriff's department during the 1960s, and she had resided in Rogersville and Waynesburg prior to moving to the Ruff Creek area in 1957. On June 6, 1936, she married Jesse Allen Hunnell who survives. Also surviving are a son, Delmont A. Hunnell of Waynesburg R.D.1; two grandchildren, Matthew Jesse and Nathan Allen Hunnell; and a stepgrandchild, Nicole Love. Deceased are four brothers, Clifford, Edward and Benjamin Davis Jr., and a brother who died in infancy; and two sisters, Patricia Davis and Mary Margaret Pennessi.
