Ruby Roberts Seward, 73, of Washington, formerly of Bridgeville, died Monday, March 2, 1998, at Washington County Health Center.

She was born June 3, 1924, in Bessemer, Ala., daughter of John Roberts and Minnie Denton Roberts.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Janchenko of Bridgeville and Carol Bainer of Claysville; and three grandchildren, Robin Whitaker, Bob Janchenko Jr. and Lisa DiLeo.
