Laura A. "Sis" Sloan, 63, of Morey Road, Fredericktown, Deemston Borough, died at 7:55 p.m. Monday, March 2, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Mrs. Sloan was Catholic and attended Centerville High School and was a 1954 graduate of Bethlehem Joint High School. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and gardening. On September 2, 1960, she married David E. Sloan Jr., who survives. Also surviving are three sons, David K., John W. and Robert G. Sloan, all of Fredericktown, Deemston Borough; two grandchildren; a brother, George Fedelischak Jr. of Fredericktown, Deemston Borough; two sisters, Anna Marie Gall of Brook Park, Ohio, and Georgette Stefek of Streetsboro, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
