Sophie Sarnicke Zeman, 81, of 17 Weavertown Road, Canonsburg, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals, Canonsburg. Mrs. Zeman had been a resident of Canonsburg since 1951, where she was a member of St. Patrick Parish. She had worked at the Richard Piatt Funeral Home, Attorney I.C. Bloom in Washington and the Chartiers Cleaners in Canonsburg. Surviving are a son, Tom Kesneck at home; two brothers, Henry and Joseph Sarnicke, both of Atlasburg; a sister, Stella Shapack of Aliquippa; and several nieces and nephews.
