Monroe A. Bogan Jr.

Former Washington resident dies in Cleveland

Word has been received of the death of Monroe A. Bogan Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Washington, who died unexpectedly Saturday, February 28, 1998, at a hospital in Cleveland.

He was born March 6, 1943, in Washington, a son of Monroe Bogan of Washington and the late Ethel Bogan.

Surviving are his wife, Irene Bogan; three stepchildren, Ivylee Wilkinson, Shon Wilkinson and Chevella Jenkin, all of Cleveland; three sisters, Loretta Curtis of Columbia, Ohio, Norma Jackson of Pittsburgh and Dorothy "Little Bit" Miller of Washington; a brother, Ronald Bogan of Washington; eight stepgrandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A brother, Robert Bogan, is deceased.
