Clarence "Lou" Young, 71, of Windsor Road, Washington, died at 9:15 a.m. Friday, March 6, 1998, at home, following a brief illness after a heart attack. Mr. Young was former manager of the Guttman Oil station at the corner of Allison and Wylie avenues. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Germany and was a member of the Keystone Club. Surviving are a son, Master Sgt. Randy Louis Young of Los Angeles, Calif.; a stepson, Richard Harold Keener of Malvern, Ohio; a daughter, Kathy Jean Swihart of Washington; a brother, Wayne Cosgray of Washington; two sisters, Elizabeth Moore of Washington and Dorothy Mattox of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren, LuAnn Keener, Richard Keener III, April, Cindy Lou and Brandi Lee Young, April Wetzel, Jason and Jeremy Keener; and four great-grandson.
