Mildred Jean Martorana, 70, of Oshawa, Canada, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, in Oshawa General Hospital. Shewas a 1945 graduate of Canonsburg High School and also graduated from the Southside Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh. She had worked at Woodville State Hospital and hospitals in Canada and Israel. Surviving are two daughters, Nina Massey of Oshawa and Jean Wendell of Finleyville; a sister, Peggy Spin of Houston; a brother, Monte Miller of Canonsburg; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Thomas; and a sister, Mary Jane Mullig. Services were held March 5 in Oshawa with burial in Oshawa Cemetery.
