Charles R. Griffith, 90, of Crafton, formerly of Forward Township, died Friday, March 6, 1998, in Ohio Valley General Hospital, Kennedy Township.

He was born March 26, 1907, in Fair Hope, a stepson of John G. Cherry of Monongahela.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Griffith; two sons, Curtis R. and Thomas B. Griffith; a daughter, Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Griffith; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a son, Charles R. Griffith Jr.
