Joan V. Rode, 75, of Lawrence Road, Bethel Park, died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Rode was a retired secretary for the U.S. Department of Energy and was a member of St. Barbara Roman Catholic Church, Presto. Surviving are a son, Richard F. Rode of Bridgeville; a daughter, Susan R. McLaughlin of Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Cailin E. McLaughlin; and a brother, Patrick R. Quinn of Bridgeville. Deceased are her husband, Richard F.
