Carol Virginia Hermann, 82, of Ginger Hill, Bentleyville, died Thursday, May 14, 1998, in Havencrest Nursing Home, Carroll Township. A retired nurse's aide, Mrs. Hermann had worked at Western Center, Canonsburg. She was a member of Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church, Eighty Four, and was a former organist of the church. She was a member of the Monongahela Mothers Club. Surviving are six sons, Earl L. Hermann of Washington, William F. Hermann of Ginger Hill, Gerald "Tom" Hermann of Tupelo, Miss., Merle J. Hermann of Englewood, Colo., H. Dennis Hermann of Fredericksburg, Va., and G. Jeffrey Hermann of Dunedin, Fla.; three daughters, Kathleen Bowen of Water Valley, Miss., Judith Garbart of McKees Rocks and Jayne Graham of Elrama; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Thomas Weygandt of Monongahela, Merle Weygandt of Winston-Salem, N.C., Jefferson Weygandt of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Ted Weygandt of Felton, Del.
