George G. Hay, 88, of Murrysville Road, Trafford, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 14, 1998, at Washington Hospital. Mr. Hay, who loved to travel, was employed by Westinghouse Electric for more than 32 years until his retirement. He was a member of Tyrian Lodge No. 612 F.&A.M., member of A.A.S.R. Consistory, Valley of Pittsburgh, member of Syria Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Pittsburgh and a member of McKeesport Caravan No. 4 of Syria Temple A.A.O.N.M.B. His wife of more than 50 years, Dorothy S. Painter Hay, survives. Also surviving are a son, Paul G. Hay of Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kenneth P. Hay, Pamela Jean Newman and Susan Harman; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Gordon Hay, is deceased. At the request of the family there will be no public visitation and burial is private. Funeral arrangements are by Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington.
