Donald Robert Malone, 69, of Carlisle, S.C., formerly of Palm Desert, Calif., died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, in Carlisle. Mr. Malone was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy, and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. His wife, Ruth E. Muller Malone, died November 26, 1997. Surviving are three sons, Robin Malone of Carlisle, Danny Malone of Antioch, Calif., and Toby Malone of Pittsburg, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Linda Felix of California; four grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and a brother, James Lloyd Malone of St. Petersburg, Fla.
