Stanley J. Marosz, 62, of R.D.1, St. John's Road, Colliers, W.Va., formerly of Canonsburg, died Thursday, April 30, 1998, in Weirton Medical Center. He had been ill for the past year. He was a member of St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg, where he attended grade school, and was a graduate of Canonsburg High School, class of 1954. Mr. Marosz was formerly employed as an agent for Western and Southern Insurance Co., retiring in 1991 after 35 years. He was most recently employed by Fort Cherry School District until the time of his illness. He was a member of the Bears Club, Meadow Lands, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, serving overseas as a member of the military police. Surviving are his wife, Marguerite McGahan; two sons, Mark Marosz of Houston, Texas and Daryl Marosz of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a daughter, Cheryl Lucas of Follansbee, W.Va.; two stepchildren, Scott Slaven of Richmond, Va., and Pamela Bartolotto of Prosperity; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a brother, James Marosz of Pittsburgh; four sisters, Eileen Fee of Long Island, N.Y., Joan Gravley and Carol Sobolewski, both of New Orleans, La., and Louise Rosspank of Schaumburg, Ill.
