Albert D. Headley, 72, of Maripasa, Calif., formerly of Fredericktown, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, in Fresno, Calif. Mr. Headley served in U.S. Navy during World War II and was a 1947 graduate of East Bethlehem High School. He was a former independent truck driver, a miner for Vesta 5 Mine, and worked for Prudential Insurance Co., and from 1984 to 1991 he owned and operated the Headley Country Bowling Lanes. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Grash Headley of Fredericktown, who he married November 28, 1970; a daughter, Darla Anne Headley of Maripasa; three sons, David Headley of Kodiak, Alaska, Edward W. Headley of State College, and Albert M. "Bert" Headley of St. Marys; three grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two brothers, William Headley of Mechanicsburg and Ray Headley of Vestaburg; and a sister, Darla Jean Headley Christopher of Gettysburg. Deceased are a daughter, Deborah Headley; and a brother, James Headley. Services were held in California and were private.
