Ellen E. Armstrong, 82, of Chess Street, Monongahela, died Thursday, May 28, 1998, in her home. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Monongahela. She had been formerly employed at Corning Glass in Charleroi, and at Crall's Flower Shop in Monongahela, and was also part owner of EMMS Flowers in Monongahela. Surviving are a son, Roy L. Armstrong of Charleroi; five grandsons, Roy A., Kevin S., Thomas L., and twins Daniel J. and David L. Armstrong; and nine great-grandchildren. Deceased are her husband, Albert "Army" Armstrong, who died February 8, 1998; and three brothers, Paul, William and Roy Samer.
