Edward Louis Fruecht Jr., 49, of McMurray, died Saturday, May 2, 1998. Mr. Fruecht was an active member of ABATE of Pennsylvania, Harley-Davidson Owners Group of Washington County, M.R.F., A.I.M., A.M.A. and Bikepac. He was an accomplished motorcycle safety instructor and school bus instructor of Pennsylvania. Mr. Fruecht was actively involved in raising money to support Bikepac and the Shriners Children's Hospitals. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Linda Fruecht; a son, Edward Fruecht III of Lebanon; a daughter, Michele Fruecht, at home; two grandsons, Edward Fruecht IV and Justin Fruecht; two brothers, Harry Fruecht and William Fruecht; and two sisters, Charlotte Webster and Gwenn Hartman. He was born September 4, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Edward Fruecht Sr. and Nellie Brick of Naples, Fla.
