John P. Guydan, 89, of Monongahela, died Saturday, May 2, 1998, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. He was a lifelong resident of Monongahela. He was retired from Combustion Engineering, Monongahela. Mr. Guydan was a member of St. Anthony Church in Monongahela. Surviving are his wife, Loretta Jean Opfer Guydan; a daughter, Gloria Walsh of Monongahela; two sons, John Guydan of Ocala, Fla., and Ronald Guydan of Metarie, La.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Deceased are his first wife, Lena Armenini Guydan, who died June 13, 1976; two sisters, Susan Lazzari and Mary Sacane; and two brothers, Peter and Frank Guydan.
