William Renners, 70, of Claudia Avenue, Danielson, Conn., died April 26, 1998, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Conn. Following his education, he began his service with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following an honorable discharge, he returned to Canonsburg. Mr. Renners became an appliance repairman, a job he had until his relocation to Danielson in 1959. He then became employed as a glass worker. He worked for several companies including Knox Glass Corp. in Dayville, Conn., and Star City Glass Corp. in Coventry, R.I. His final employer was Foster Forbes Corp. in Milford, Mass., a job he had for 15 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Renners was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson and a member of the Glass Blowers Bottle Association. On April 19, 1954, in Washington, he married Elizabeth Morris, who survives. Also surviving are a son, William L. Renners of Danielson; a brother, John Renners of Canonsburg; three sisters, Marcella Renners of Detroit, Mich., Frances Vidusic of Livonia, Mich., and Eleanor Zavatski of Canonsburg; one granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
