Rose T. Muchoney, 83, of Marianna, died Saturday, May 2, 1998, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. Mrs. Muchoney moved to Marianna in 1932, where she lived until her death. She was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church, Marianna, and a member of its Altar Society. Mrs. Muchoney was a member of the Women's Federated Club and Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 744, both in Marianna. On June 10, 1937, she married Andrew Muchoney, who died in 1988. Surviving are a son, John A. Muchoney of Oakbrook, Ill.; a sister, Josephine Sworcheck of Marianna; a brother, Fred Tambourine of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; two grandsons, Andrew and Stephen Muchoney; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Theodore Joseph Muchoney, who died in infancy; a brother, Benjamin Tambourine; and a sister, Fannie Calabrese.
