Hazel L. Pettit, 68, of South Franklin Township, Washington, died Monday, May 4, 1998, in Washington Hospital. Mrs. Pettit, a homemaker, was a member of the Church of Christ, Washington, and attended Trinity schools. In December 1950, in Washington, she married William J. Pettit, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Donald Greene, Ronald Greene, Bill Pettit and Allen Pettit, all of Washington, and Bernie Pettit of Arkansas; a daughter, Saundra Mead of Washington; two brothers, George Roux and John Roux, both of Washington; three sisters, Dorothy Brownlee of West Middletown, and Annetta Baker and Jacquelyn Arena, both of Washington; seven grandchildren, Donald Anderson, Donald Greene Jr., Lisa Roberts, Lori Guzell Pettit, Lynn Pettit, Myka Pettit and Seth Pettit.
