Esther S. Myers, 93, of Anna Maria, Fla., formerly of Monongahela, died Sunday, April 19, 1998, in Blake Hospital, Bradenton, Fla. Esther and her husband, Charles H. Myers, who died in 1972, owned and operated the third generation Myers & Myers Hardware Store in Monongahela. The store was family operated for 75 years. Mrs. Myers was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Quota Club, all in Monongahela. Surviving are a son, Charles III of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Martha Belle Necciai of Monongahela; nine grandchildren, Susan Necciai Sabatini, Mark and Kirk Necciai, Tami Myers Plumer, Barbara, Robert, John and Charles Myers IV and Donna Myers Weller; and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Stanley Sampson of Whittier, Calif.; three sisters, Beulah Fingal and Ruth O'Brien, both of Pittsburgh and Marsha Toy of Hollywood, Calif. Deceased are a son, M. Robert Myers; four brothers, Glen, Orin, Kenneth and Harold Sampson; and a sister, Belle Gibson.
