James D. Puskar, 71, of 226 Vine Street, Canonsburg, died Wednesday, May 6, 1998, in the Greenery Nursing and Rehabilitation. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Puskar was employed as a male nurse in several hospitals. He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Canonsburg and had served with the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean conflict. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Jane Ann Pease of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Vera Blum and Sara Mosko, both of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews. Canonsburg veteran was retired nurse
He was born April 18, 1927, in Imperial, a son of Steve and Bertha Thomas Puskar. Before moving to Canonsburg in 1974, he lived in Van Neis, Calif., for 30 years.
