Wayne "Tink" Kramer, 70, of Mather, died Thursday, October 29, 1998, in his home. He was a retired coal miner, who had worked from 1947 to 1983 for Mather Collieries and Consolidation Coal Co.'s Osage Mine. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America District 31 and served with the U.S. Army during World World II. Mr. Kramer was a member of World Wide Church of God in Washington and had lived all of his life in Mather. On June 29, 1957, he married Beatrice Lowden Kramer, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda Prodan of Carmichaels and Sondra Kramer of Waynesburg; a son, Kurt Kramer of Waynesburg; several grandchildren; two half-sisters; and three half-brothers.
