Tobias (Tobie) Lemasters, 80, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio, and Washington, died Sunday, November 8, 1998, in Trinity Medical Center East, Steubenville. Mr. Lemasters was retired from the former Steubenville Glove and Tarp Co. and was a retired self-employed farmer. He was Protestant, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6906 of Toronto, Ohio. Surviving are two sons, John "Buck" Lemasters of Washington and Jerry Lemasters of Amity; two daughters, Carol Phillips of Prosperity and Grace Bell of Washington; his first wife, Beatrice Lemasters of Washington; a brother, James Lemasters of Grafton, Ohio; three sisters, Frances Stoneking of Pine Bank, Elizabeth Yoho of Moundsville, W.Va., and Delphie Hamilton of Carmichaels; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are his second wife, Mary Ellen Rogers Lemasters, who died October 13, 1997; an infant son, Craig Lemasters; two brothers, Archie and George Lemasters; a grandson; and a great-great-grandson.
