Sarah Jane Bissell, 67, of 1 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, died Tuesday, November 10, 1998, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh. A 1949 graduate of Canonsburg High School, she was employed by the former Fort Pitt Bridge Works, Canonsburg, and was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Canonsburg, where she was active in the Gleaners Class. Surviving are a brother, Robert J. Bissell of Maitland, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, Daniel Bissell, and a half brother, Guane Houston.
