George Kiddo, 69, of East Eighth Street, Erie, died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in Hamot Medical Center. Mr. Kiddo worked for the Erie Water Bureau and Erie Water Authority for 20 years, retiring as crew leader in 1992, and had previously been employed by General Electric Co., Donnelly Hardware and St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a member of Save Our Native Species (SONS) of Lake Erie and American Association of Retired Persons. Mr. Kiddo enjoyed fishing and golf. Surviving are his former wife, Gertrude Froehlich Kiddo; two sons, Mark Kiddo Sr. and Gregory Kiddo Sr., both of Erie; a daughter, Cynthia Kiddo of Erie; two sisters, Helen Kisiday of Chicago, Ill., and Mary Chizmar of Washington; seven grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Mark Jr., Natalie, Julia, Nicholas and Elizabeth Kiddo, and Killian Boam; two nieces, Marge Marker of Avella and Catherine Wojcik of Burgettstown; and two nephews, John Chizmar and James Holston, both of Washington. Deceased are four brothers, John, Pete, Nicholas Jr. and Michael Kiddo; two sisters, Ann Law and Julia Kiddo; and two infant granddaughters.
