Stanley W. Aspey, 96, of Carmichaels, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. Mr. Aspey was a retired coal miner from Robena Mine and was a member of UMWA. On December 7, 1927, he married L. Ethel McKinney, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Vernon Aspey of Sullivan, Ohio, John Wallace Aspey of Monrovia, Md., and Louis Aspey of Carmichaels; two daughters, Barbara Sagges of Laurel, Md., and Lucille Mileo of North Olmsted, Ohio; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kermit Aspey of Florida. Deceased are a son, Stanley Lee Aspey; a grandson, David Aspey; a brother, Willard Aspey; and three sisters, Garnet, Gertrude and Clara.
