John Delbert Figley, 94, of Burgettstown, died Sunday, November 15, 1998, in his home. At 8 years old, he began working with his father at B.B. Figley & Son Feed Store in Burgettstown, where he became the owner and manager, retiring in 1973. He was a member of Hillcrest United Presbyterian Church, Richard Vaux Lodge 454 F&AM of Burgettstown and Scottish Rite of Pittsburgh. On August 14, 1936, in Berryville, Va., he married Grace Louis Cooley, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Irene Sanders of Falls Church, Va., Sue Klein of Locust Valley, N.Y., and Mary Jo Pendeville and Sandra Allison, both of Burgettstown; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
