James Richard Faust, 62, of Roswell, N.M., formerly of Dilliner R.D.1 (Taylortown), died Tuesday, November 17, 1998, at the home of his daughter in Dilliner. He was a 1955 graduate of Morgantown (W.Va.) High School and attended West Virginia University in Morgantown. Mr. Faust was a member of Taylortown United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Army and was a retired insurance adjuster, licensed in West Virginia and New Mexico. He was active in his community. He served as a board member of Greensboro Community Clinic, was past president of the Southwestern Greene PTA, was a Greensboro Little League/Senior League Baseball coach and was active on the Boy Scout council. He was a member of the Morgantown Jaycees, Bobtown Volunteer Fire Department, Dunkard Valley Lodge IOOF 1180, Audubon Society, Roswell Hiking Club, Roswell FOE and West Virginia Claims Association. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Marjorie Jaretta Griffin Faust, whom he married September 13, 1958; three children, Cynthia Hunnell of Dilliner, J. Christian Faust of Front Royal, Va., and Fredrick Faust of Clearville; two grandchildren, Brian Allen and Melissa Noelle Faust; and several nieces and nephews.
