Kenneth J. Spina, 57, of Canonsburg, died unexpectedly at 12:59 a.m. Sunday, November 22, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals-Canonsburg. Mr. Spina lived most of his life in the Canonsburg-Houston area, where he was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a 1958 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. He was employed as a production-inventory control supervisor for Cooper Industries in Canonsburg until its closing. He also had worked as a part-time deliveryman for L&M Flower Shop. Mr. Spina served as secretary for PNA (White Eagles) Lodge 1746 of Canonsburg and as secretary of the Men's Bowling League. He was a social member of American Legion Post 992 of Houston, Houston Independent Club and Sons of Italy Lodge. He had served in the U.S. Army. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Judith Regelman Spina, whom he married July 1, 1967; and two daughters, Christina Spina of Pittsburgh and Lisa Spina Fountain of Charlottesville, Va.
