Jean Crawford Hanson, 72, of Bethesda, Md., formerly of Washington, died Friday, November 20, 1998, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Hanson was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Club. She was a graduate of Washington schools and attended Penn State University. Surviving are a son, Daniel R. Hanson Jr. of Bethesda; a daughter, Cathy Anderson of Silver Springs, Md.; a granddaughter, Rachael Anderson; a sister, Ann Powers of Bethesda; and several nieces and nephews.
