Walter "Dutch" Jones, 82, of New Martinsville, W.Va., formerly of Washington, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, November 20, 1998, in the New Martinsville Health Care Center. He retired after 54 years as a glass worker and had been a supervisor at the former Duncan Miller Glass Co., Washington. He later worked for the Tiffin and Viking glass companies. Mr. Jones enjoyed woodworking and fishing. On May 11, 1940, he married Marry Briggs, who survives. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, George Jones; and three sisters, Emily Laughery, Iva Beomson and Melba Keegan.
