Duncan R. Hyslop, 76, of New Eagle, died Sunday, November 22, 1998, in Allegheny University Hospitals, Allegheny General, Pittsburgh. Mr. Hyslop was a lifelong resident of New Eagle, where he was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. Mr. Hyslop retired from U.S. Steel Corp., Irwin Works, with 31 years of service. He formerly was employed by Mississippi Glass Co. in Floreffe. Surviving is his wife, Ina Chestnut Hyslop, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 9, 1998. Also surviving are four sons William G. of New Eagle, Robert H. of Dravosburg, Brian R. of Allison Park and Duncan B. Hyslop of Carroll Township; a daughter, Mary Beth Morris of Warrenton, Va.; a sister, Agnes Stump of Finleyville; and eight grandchildren, Tracy, Lauren, Meagan, Tory, Dan and Jonathan Hyslop and Kristen and Ashley Morris. Deceased are four brothers, John, George, Malcolm and Robert Hyslop; and two sisters, Elizabeth Reinhardt and Mary Urquhardt.
