Randolph "Randy" Metz, 76, formerly of Eighty Four and Bentleyville, died Sunday, November 22, 1998, in King Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Mr. Metz retired in 1964, from the U.S. Army as a sergeant first class after 24 years of service. He survived the battle of Pearl Harbor. He was a member of Lake Alfred Lions Club, Lake Alfred, Fla. Surviving are a son, Robert Metz of Georgetown; four daughters, Merry Metz of Alexandria, Jean Marie Hagerman, of McSherrytown, Patricia Wade of Easley, S.C., and Victoria King of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Marjorie Burgan of Charleroi; a brother, Charles Metz of Bentleyville; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Christy Metz, who died in 1972; and two brothers, Kenneth, who died in 1976, and Eugene "Jack" Metz, who died in 1990.
