Daunice L. Clutter Ramage, 76, of Claysville (Donegal Township), died at 12:05 a.m. Friday, November 27, 1998, in the Greenery Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg. Mrs. Ramage was a member of Claysville Christian Church. She attended Burnsville Grade School and Claysville High School. She was employed for 24 years as a nursing assistant at Presbyterian Nursing Homes, Washington, retiring in 1994. Mrs. Ramage was a member of Washington County Horse and Mule Association, where she served as secretary, the State Line Saddle Club, where she served as secretary, and was a charter member of the Draft Horse and Mule Association. She served on the Donegal Township District 2 elections board for more than 30 years, including several years as a judge of elections. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing bingo, collecting cookbooks and visiting with Amish friends in Ohio. On June 27, 1939, in Winchester, Va., she married Frank L. Ramage, who survives and with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage. Also surviving are four daughters, Mary Kathryn Hrobak of Warren, Ohio, Phyllis R. Ryburn of Washington, Janice Louise Buckingham of Hickory and Emma Charlene Caldwell of Claysville; three sisters, Kathryn Ealy and Mary Lou Cox, both of Claysville and Peggy Staggers of Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Tammie Jo Buckingham Moore, Eric Keith Buckingham, Robert Bruce and Joseph Mark Ryburn, Judd Wayne and Rend'ee Kathryn Caldwell and Shelly Lynn Caldwell Wigal; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
