Jasper LeRoy Lemley, 71, of Pine Bank, died Sunday, November 1, 1998, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Mr. Lemley was affiliated with the Methodist church and had worked in coal mines and shafts and as a handyman, gravedigger and sheepshearer. Surviving are three sons, Dearald Lemley of Roaring Spring, Learnie Lemley of East Palatka, Fla., and Tom Lemley of Fayetteville, N.C.; two stepsons, Bob Braun of Washington, D.C., and Jerry Braun of Maryland; two daughters, Bonnie Garlitz of Morgantown, W.Va., and Bertha Willey of New Freeport; a stepdaughter, Deborah Henard of Core, W.Va.; two brothers, Winfred Lemley of San Diego, Calif., and Learnie Lemley of Pentress, W.Va.; four sisters, Minnie Tennant and Catherine Shaw, both of Hundred, W.Va., Betty Tennant of Blacksville, W.Va., and Jane Tennant of Burton R.D.1, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Deceased are his first wife, Charlotte Isabelle Lemley, who died December 13, 1974; his second wife, Dorothy Tedrow Lemley, who died July 4, 1987; and a brother, Bill Lemley.
