Charles F. Sanders Jr., 68, of Lone Pine, died Monday, November 2, 1998, in his home. Mr. Sanders attended Prosperity School and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He was employed as a steel grinder at Precision-Marshall Industries in Washington from 1955 until retiring in 1992. Mr. Sanders was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church and had been active as an assistant Boy Scout leader in the Lone Pine area for many years. On July 7, 1955, he married Romayne Kenimond, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Randy Sanders of West Alexander, Paul Sanders of Prosperity and Gary Sanders of Washington; two daughters, Pam Daniels and Paula Longstreth, both of Washington; a brother, Donald Sanders of Waynesburg; and eight grandchildren.
