Joseph Nagy Sr., 81, of Chartiers Run Road, Canonsburg, died Saturday, November 28, 1998, in his home, following an illness of several months. Mr. Nagy worked as a driver for the former Safeway Dry Cleaners and Hi Hat Cleaners, both of Houston. He drove a school bus for Schweinebraten Bus Co. and Canon-McMillan School District, and until his illness, he worked in the maintenance department of Ladbroke at the Meadows. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. On January 21, 1942, he married Ethel Faye Tilger, who died September 29, 1985. Surviving are a son, Joseph Nagy Jr. of Canonsburg; two daughters, Donna George of Houston and Linda Brytus of Washington; three grandchildren, Michael, Lora and Lynne George; a brother, Albert Nagy Sr. of Houston; and a sister, Ethel Pater of Pittsburgh.
