William Rapsack Jr., 70, of Van Voorhis, died Wednesday, November 25, 1998, at his home. Mr. Rapsack retired as a supervisor from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Monessen Mill, and later worked and retired from Stauffer Chemical in Monongahela. During World War II, he served with the Merchant Marines and later with the U.S. Army. Mr. Rapsack was a member and past president of Eagles Club 1809 of Bentleyville and a member of the Lithuanian Club, Polish Club and Pensioners Club, all of Bentleyville, and the American Legion of Dunkirk. Surviving are a daughter, Anna Marie Dunne of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two grandchildren, Beau and Melissa Mayhew. Deceased are his wife, Jennie Rapsack; and a son, William James Rapsack.
