John Joseph "Beany" Zelinski, 76, of New Eagle, died Tuesday, November 3, 1998, at his home. Mr. Zelinski was a member of Transfiguration Church of Monongahela. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He also was a retired street commissioner for New Eagle. He was a member of American Legion, Frank Downer Post 302, Monongahela. Surviving is his wife, Helen Molnar Zelinski, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on February 9, 1998. Also surviving are a son, John J. Zelinski Jr. of Hueytown, Ala.; a daughter, Mary Ann Zelinski of Charleroi; two grandsons, Jason and Jarrod Zelinski; and several nieces and nephews.
