Sophie Schilinski, 90, of Slovan, died Wednesday, November 4, 1998, in Washington County Health Center. Mrs. Schilinski was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Burgettstown. Surviving are a son, Thomas A. Schilinski of Slovan; a daughter, Florence Visnich of Slovan; a sister, Helen Nightengale of Irondale, Ohio; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Deceased are her husband, Thomas Schilinski, who died in 1976; and three sisters, Anna Yorkin, Josephine Kopp and Hattie Smith.
